2018 Creative Arts Center Annual Juried Membership Exhibition (August 4 - September 1)
"Leaf of Life" has been selected for inclusion in the 2018 Creative Arts Center Juried Membership Exhibition. The Exhibition runs from August 4th through September 1st at the Mary Tomás Gallery (1110 Dragon St., Dallas, Texas 75207).
There will be an opening reception on Saturday August 4th from 5:30-8:30.

New Photographic Works
I recently spent a week in South Florida and was fortunate to be able to capture a stunning rising over the Atlantic Ocean. This new series is titled "Arise." Introducing Fused Glass Wind Chimes: "Where Wind and Light Meet Sight and Sound"
I have recently completed my first set (with several more sets to come) of fused glass wind chimes. They are on display and available for purchase at my booth at the Richardson Mercantile (see below). You may also contact me directly about one of the items you see pictured here. About Richardson Mercantile: This is not a conventional antique mall, hence the name "Mercantile", and why I chose this location to set up a small shop. The Mercantile has over 100 vendors that offer a wide array of items that extend beyond those typical of most antique malls. Offerings range from antiques, collectible and vintage items of all types to more contemporary items, such as eclectic home decor, (e.g. furnishings, and decor elements and accent pieces perfect for adding unique interior design elements to your home). art, clothes, and a range of other locally made handmade craft items such as candles, soaps.

I am finally getting my first kiln for my home studio! With its arrival will come many new and exciting glass works over the coming months and years.
Plans include:
1. A renewed focus on "Spin Art" works
2. New iterations of the menorah "balance" series. These works will further explore this concept and its many forms and manifest themselves as both menorahs and art works unto themselves. Wish me luck!
3. Seder plates, Matzoh Plates and Shabbos Candleholders. If you are interested in these, please let me know by filling out the contact form. Please be sure to let me know which you are interested in. Also, if you have a particular design/style please share that too. Although I pride myself for creating wholly original pieces based on my own ideas and inspirations, if there is a particular item of interest you have seen elsewhere, feel free to send me a link or picture.
